Saltwater Testing

Can anyone suggest an automatic saltwater testing system ?

My wish list would contain -

I would like the system to test for all the parameters needed for a successful coral reef.

I would like the system to be accurate and easy to read. (my eyes aren't that good at counting drops or matching colors)

I would like the tests to be done automatically or as simple as possible.

I would like the testing system to tie in to an automatic dosing system.

The bottom line is, I would appreciate any and all suggestions on the best testing systems available.

Reefbot would be the first option I recommend. It uses a variety of off the shelf test kits to automate the process. Mindstream might be my second recommendation, before going into various some parameter testers.

There is no system that does all of what you are asking. The three I'm aware of that do some level of automatic testing are the reefbot, mindstream and trident. Only the trident with the associated Apex controller and dosers can manage things end to end from testing to dosing, but only for the three major parameters.

Automating dosing is easy with a dosing pump, but you need to keep an eye on the results and adjust the dosing as required over time.

That will hopefully give you some material to research, and you can decide for yourself where you want to compromise.
