what if I will stir my newly saltwater for 5 mins, is it good?

If you mean new salt water you have made up , I would follow the manufacturers guide. I mix mine for a good hour or two befor I add it to the dt

Most salts have instructions on how to mix them. Best to check the package as they vary salt to salt

I mix 15 gallon water changes in a trash can with a heater and a power head. It takes at lest an hour for the water to clear. But alot longer for the temp to hit 78.

I just put mine in a trash can w/ power head and it mixes nicely
