I have a 65 Gallon with their stand. Got to be one of the best aquariums made, sad they went out of business. The Weir Design can handle an incredible amount of flow, I modified the overflow pipe to handle the increased water flow.

How do you like your lavender tang? Does it mind well with the other tangs and fish?

It is quite a bit smaller than the other two tangs but it has been bold and active since the first day. Surprisingly neither or the established Gold Rim or Yellow gave him any issues when he was introduced. I like him a lot. One of the other names this species goes by is Freckle Face tang and if you see him in person you understand it.

Wrasse crew mixing it up with the tangs at nori time. Still battling that awful green cyano a bit. Better than dinos though.

One of my two spongodes can't decide which growth form it wants to take. It has encrusting, branches and now is developing an area of scrolling/plating right in the middle of the colony. Weird but pretty coral.

I believe you're right. At least that's what my other one does. The plate forming and the upturned edges are what had me going ......hmmmmm.

This video is from my 25 Lagoon. Pipefish are hilarious to watch feed. Their eyes are so far from their mouth they have to strike sideways after circling with their heads to nail down their target.
