Just added a small chalk basslet and a yellow clown goby to QT! $30 and $15 respectively. Got a $10 discount on the basslet because they had him for awhile.

Both have already eaten. The Chalk Bass looks like his fins were nipped on by the clown he was with at the store.

All fish in QT accounted for!

added 10ml of lanthanol chloride last night!

Did a water change on QT and noticed the wrasse has an ich dusting... :(
Added 20 drops of Coppermine to QT before realizing wrasse are sensitive to it.
Will add the remaining 20 over the rest of the week starting Tuesday.

Added another 5ml LC...

QT fish accounted for! doing ok. Wrasse has forgiven me. When I put in the 20 drops yesterday he was obviously irritated. Did a writhe in pain dance then hang out in the tube for the rest of the night. I felt bad.
Today he was out. fewer white specks, eating well; begging for more like before.
Other fish are chill. bass has started bagging with the goby and wrasse too...

QT is great for nothing other then the fish associating you with food. Let alone the screening and treatment aspects to it... I think I'll get a cleaner goby for the frag tank. I can add him to QT this cycle and they're only like $20.

I have a Sharknose or Yellow Stripe (can't remember which) and a Blue Stripe Neon cleaner Goby. Both of them were riding around in my palm yesterday while I was rearranging the stuff my Urchin knocked over while I was gone.

where did you source them from?
There are 3-4 Petcos around me that I check in on to see if they have any cool fish or crazy deals.

Mine closest to me never really has anything special. Although I did get two peppermint shrimp from there for $7 bucks each. One was missing an eye :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing: . I almost bought an emerald crap from there but I noticed he was missing an arm. What is going on in those tanks? lol Jason said the petco in Bloomington is pretty cool but I haven't made it that way.

Went up to Carpentersville for a Mtn. Biking class for my boy. I went over the handlebars in the first 1/2 hour so decided to sit out... Went to the Petco out there and was amazed at what they had. at least 12 tanks of stuff. several tang so many lemon coral goby; and other fish but they actually had pom pom crabs.

lucky you came home without bullet holes...
Never know it by the mtn. bikes everyone was on... Most folks were on 5k++ bikes at Anders.

Yay! just wadded through all the tax and annual report mumbo jumbo I needed to for ParlAquatics.com...
unbelievable... Legal Zoom wanted $300 to file a report that only cost $75 for me to file with the state...

I used to do taxes for Jackson Hewitt to make extra money. it always blew my mind that people would have the easiest returns, and be ok with paying like $400 to $500 to have their taxes done. Jackson Hewitt would accept payment by deducting it from their refund, so it was no money out of their pocket. Robbery.
