I had th Curve 7 before the IOAOI. Great skimmer. I gave it to another reefer on here when I got the IOAOI.So, I took advantage of the thanksgiving sales and a $100 BRS win to get a curve 7 skimmer!

Its foam is to thick... When I did a Post Mortem on my old skimmer, I found the ceramic shaft of the impellor was broken. So that explains why I thought something was off ever since I cleaned it last... The PL-150 just didn't seem to fill the chamber like it used to. It was also way underrated for my bio-load.

cleaned-out the first chamber of the sump to fit it in then discovered it was too low so built a rock box for it.

I also got a new pump (1835gph -> 3450gph) that I have still to install... I plan to move the skimmer to the 2nd chamber to make room for the prototype ParlaRoller (not needed because they'll all fit but I want to be able to take clear photos!):
