Ok for someone who has no clue what that is other than a fancy computer looking electrical thingy? What is it and what will you be using it for and why? Awesome job though!

My roller floss filters will be using that pcb. Its to control the motor.
takes 12V breaks it down to 5V for the optical sensor
uses the 5V sensor input to control a 12V motor via a transistor (TIP120)
has 2 LEDs and a button too.
the button is for manual rolling. an LED lights up when its active.
the other LED is on when the device is powered and the optical sensor is plugged in.

It'll be encased in epoxy behind a TPU/PETG button

thanks! they're a little more then I wanted to charge but the polycarb is expensive for a sheet and I don't know how many I can get on a sheet yet. I need to find a wholesaler.
 
finished my PCB! there are a few extra steps I need in assembling it because I messed-up a little but its still way better then soldering the whole thing!

it fits in the roller great and is super sturdy and low profile.

Finally got a Raspberry Pi4 and USB Hat to put multi-headed Octoprint on. I had to modify an existing case for the USB Hat and I plan to release the addon on Thingiverse eventually.

I can store all the gcode files and control 7 printers from it.

install was stupid simple using the octoprint _deploy script discussed here after installing Raspbian on the SD card...
my printers are named after the color of the modded parts I installed on them.
The extra USB dongles prevent the printers from stealing power from the Raspberry Pi's USB Bus.

Dunno. I forgot - just been dumping kalkwasser Into my parlaWasser reactor.
I haven’t actually thought about it in over a year!
