Thinking of taking a day trip from Sacramento to see some of the stores there are there any I shouldn't miss? Thanks

Unfortunatley SF doesnt have much but if you can make be sure to Check out Aquatic Collection and Neptunes Aquatics. The fish ate Aquatic Collection are as rare as they come ans Neptunes has an incredible gallery of display tanks. There is an interesting store in SF however 6th avenue aquarium, I don’t know how they do it but yellow tangs for 20 bucks, Hippos for 30, everything crazy cheap and you catch your own fish. Its an odd store but its worth looking at. I wouldnt add anything without quarentine though. I got my powder blue for 50 bucks last year there 8 inches! They have a sale every sunday at 10am where a ton of fish are all bagged up at 50 percent off. Rare wrasses, tangs, clowns, angels everything in bags ready to go for 50 percent. I like to go at least once a month to this sale but its like a black friday in there everyone trying to get the best deal.

Plus 1 for Aquatic Collection in Hayward. He had lots of coral 3 years ago before I moved. Nice guy i used to buy from them. Get on his mailing list. Also just down the road in another industrial complex is Atlantis Aquarium. He does not have much in they way of coral but if you catch them on a fish delivery day he has tons. Also he has a very very large show tank as you walk in the door.
I think the 6th street store has a lot of fresh water discus. I remember they had weird hours.

SF is goldfish koi country.

6th is mainly saltwater now, yeah they have very long hours 10am-11pm. Aquatic Collection had a remodel and it looks amazing now they are setting up a wall of display tanks currently. Im gonna check out atlantis never heard of them.
