Sand algae ID please!

Just looking for some help determining what this is growing on my sand bed. I noticed it goes away at night, then returns during the day. Originally I was thinking Diatoms or Dino’s, but I see no air bubbles at all, so I’m thinking cyano, but not 100% sure.

Some sand sifting starfish, conch, and diamond gobies could help with that problem.

By the description sounds like Dino’s. Had the same thing in my tank. They would completely go away at night. Running a uv light at night helped with removal.

I run UV sterilizer 24/7.

I run UV sterilizer 24/7.

I would have too but I didn’t like the noise my pump made. My setup was virtually silent minus the skimmer which was pretty quiet.
