Sand bed shells everywhere

Any suggestions on how to get rid of all the tiny shell fragments in my sand bed? The larger, intact ones were placed by me for my hermits, but the broken pieces came in the bag of live sand when i set up my tank. I don’t mind a few pieces, but now it just looks junky and I’d like to clean it up. I thought about a kitchen strainer, but the holes are too fine to let through the sand grains.

Kitty litter strainer might do the trick, can probably get one at the Dollar Store for next to nothing.
