What do you find to best thing for cleaning the sand. I have had a diamond goby but they get to much sand on corals or bury them. What should i get

How large and how deep is the sand bed, what is the sand bed composed of ie, aragonite?

Couple inches deep some places probably 1 inch deep its pink fiji sand

The only invert that has worked well for me is the Tigar Tail Cumcumber, but it needs something to munch on and will deplete your sand bed of the natural flora and fauna. Sand sifting stars are a no no in my book unless you have a larger tank with an established sand bed, the vast majority starve in the average hobbyist tank, there are always the exceptions though, still not worth it to me.
To keep the sand clean without an invert, I make sure the flow is directional enough that detritus is not allowed to collect. I also vacuumed sections of the sand bed with each water change.

Vacuum sand every other water change...helped keep a clean and healthy tank

^^^ Vacuum sand if its a shallow. If its a DSB DO NOT TOUCH IT!!! Once you get you nutrients in check your CUC ie. Snails and hermits will take care of it.
