Tank is only a month old. New sand is Fiji Pink.

My question is, will this contaminate/damage the water parameters? Should I do wc? Nitrite & ammonia 0. Nitrate 5ppm. Not sure if there's Phosphate spike or abundant Silicate.

If the parameters are good I don’t see a need to do a water change. To be careful You could test for ammonia daily for the next 2 weeks.

Thank you, so there could be an ammonia spike due to change?

Some of the bacteria that take ammonia and nitrite out of the water were living on your gravel. Until they grow back your system may not be able to break down ammonia and nitrite as fast as it’s produced. It probably won’t be enough to harm the fish but could encourage an algae bloom.
