I have a trigger that eats my snails, I was wondering what else I can use to keep my sand nice and clean, it's a mixed reef. Thanks.

What kind of Trigger. I have a Niger and he plays nice.. Well except for my Cleaner Shrimp.. I would go with a Diamond Goby. They live to Filter your Sand. Horse Shoe Crabs will bury down and move sand around and Mr trigger will not be able to get to them

I have a Niger and blue throat, the Niger picks them off 1 by 1 lol

Star in the foreground Conch back right... Look at that sand[emoji7]

Have you tried Trochus snails? They can right themselves at least giving them a fighting chance. Also I've found the sand sifting stars do a decent job.

Trochus snails, Sand Sifting Star, Conch, Mexican Red Legs. They all have different jobs, so a diverse mixture is helpful. Alot of places have algae packs with some of and/or all of these in them. Great additions IMO.

Nassarius snails will do the job plus it's fun to watch them surface like a submarine from under the sand whenever you feed.
