Hi everyone,

I have had a melanuras wrasse for about half a year know and it is doing great. I am currently changing out my system and will likely be going from a fine sand to a coarser sand. I want to know if I should be at all concerned about going to coarse for the wrasse since he likes to bury himself at night. I would hate to see the wrasse get scratched up or risk infection from the coarse sand. Is this something I should be worried about?

Thank You,
Cole

Don’t go too coarse as they scratch easily and if any ingested could pose a concern
