Sand Dollar

has anyone tried a sand dollar? I have come across a few websites that are selling them. Looking for better unique sand sifters than the Seastar.

Sand Dollars don't really shift sand that much.

They live in a very wavy area of the ocean shore, and Angle themselves against the wave so that all the plankton gets fed straight into them. (At least the sand dollars I know)

You will either get a sand dollar that is:

mostly sessile

and/or

starving
