Sand formations?

So I was looking at my tank and noticed that my sand bed looks like this in the front of my tank:

it looks to me like something has been tunneling in my sand bed. Anyone else seen this before or know what it is?

Looks like a bacteria or algae formed air pockets? Could it be cyno/ or dreaded dynos starting? I’m new to reefing so my response could be way off lol

Pockets probably resulting from "standard" nitrification processes

I thought air pockets as well but some of the formations looked like this:

not so sure an air bubble would make a j shape trying to escape

Probably a worm and red on lower portion could be cyano. All looks normal to me and indicates good diversity in general

Yea your right I don’t think the j shape is cyano. But my sand bed had normal bubbles like yours, I got a few snails and more flow in that area. Looking a little better but still not cured yet-I believe my issue is red slime/cyno or something similar…..

Yes, look at other things like hair algae issues or maybe invest in more cuc that move sand around, if everything else is normal than just relax, I understand reasurance

Yes, thinking red in first pic could be a small amount of cyano....
