Sand friend or foe?

not sure if this is good stuff or bad stuff in my sand. Almost not noticeable but these micro filaments are sticking out of the sand and slowly move around in the spot they are in. I think I have about 3 of them that I can see

Yeah I didn’t get mine out of the sand but the top that is sticking out definitely looks like the strands on your friend
