Is this a new tank with no inhabitants, or do you already have creatures living in there? If you're just starting and haven't cycled the tank yet, I say go for it. There may be die-off from the rock that prolongs your cycle, but that's part of the curing process.
If you have already added fish or other living creatures, I would not add the rock without first curing it in another container. The sand, you could probably get away with rinsing really well before adding.
Bora bora, we stayed at one of the resorts with the bungolos on the water. Bora bora felt touristy. I liked morea (another island) and the main island Tahiti was cooJust curious where did you stay in bora bora?
That's what I keep telling myself.Could possibly wash the Rock and sand a few time with rodi water if you really want to add it. But if it was me it would not be worth the risk.

Deff going backI went to bora bora last july, did the same and stayed in an owb. Didnt go to the other islands. Was **** amazing and was the best **** island/lagoon i have ever been to.
