So i just got a real goby, as opposed to my yellow watchman that does nothing but hide for weeks on end.
So he is going to town and spitting sand on all my coral and clams...

Do i need to blow them off? as of now i have been basting them and getting the sand off of them.

You have a NEVER ending job ahead of you with that fish!! It is what they do. Every day, all day long. Sadly the sand can and will irritate your corals. I'd be worried about the clam too.

I had one also and like posted above never ending job. I ended up going bare bottom and re homing fish. Good luck.

I have a watchman and it is bad enough. I am constantly blowing sand off LPS. I have missed a few favia and the sand area was missing color, didn't look good. Luckily pull, dip, reset and it healed.
