Sand or no sand for frag tank

I am in the process of setting up a low boy frag tank. What do you guys think I would be better off with, either CaribSea Ocean Direct Live sand, or no sand or sand just in sump?

I personally would not use any sand....especially in a frag tank. That being said, my DT is BB also lol.

I like no sand for frag tanks. I put the rock in the sump too. It takes a little longer to cycle and establish, but there is no sand to trap detritus in.

I would put some course sand or crushed coral in the sump. It helps with biological filtration and bio diversity.

I have a deep sand bed in one compartment of my sump, but I don't like sand in a frag tank otherwise.

Way easier to clean things once it stabilizes.
