Hello everyone. My 75 gallon tank had a bad seam leak and I just took it down and hauled all my fish to my LFS to be put in a holding tank. I've had the tank setup for ab 2 years now. I've removed all the water, LR,fish and coral. Now I'm down to the sand. Just wanted to let y'all know what was going on and give u a idea. My question is ab the sand in the bottom of the tank. Can I reuse the sand that's in the bottom of my old tank in my new tank? Didn't know if there was anything special I needed to do to store it. Won't have my new tank until another 2 weeks or so. Thanks for taking the time to read this and I'm looking forward to what everyone says and if someone has done this before.

Depends on how old the sand is. It might be a good time to replace with new. If you keep it you will need to store it in the water from your tank and add some form of aeration but if it were me i would replace.
