Bring right side up a little and reduce output by 10%
may be pointed down too much

I pointed it more upwards. Will this not make the bottom of the tank not have enough flow?
You have to tinker with it, keep moving until you have light flow without stirring the sand

There is no way to change the output on these from what I understood.
Ok, non DC so you’ll have to change angle as you’ve done already

As your sand gets a little older and it becomes laden with bacteria and all sorts of microscopic life it will clump a bit more and will move around less.

For now just point them up towards the surface. It won’t mess with your flow too much, and you’ll get nice surface agitation for gas exchange

I generally point the water flow upwards. This not only prevents the sandbed and bottom creatures from being disturbed, but also helps create better water agitation and actually allows the water to circulate more effectively. When the powerhead is pointed upwards, the flow will actually circle downward and back up towards the powerhead, so everything should still receive adequate flow regardless.
