Sand-Sifting Molly

I have this female Molly in a 10g nano reef and I see her all the time sifting the sand. She takes in a mouthful of sand and spits it back out. Is she looking for copepods? I have not witnessed any other mollies doing this. And idea why she does this?

She's most likely eating the microfauna from the sand bed.

I just added 5 mollies to my 75 gallon reef and I've noticed a couple of them doing that. All female interestingly.
