Sand. Size Advice Please

I have a reef tank. I need to add more sand to the existing sand bed. I want to use Tropic Eden sand. What size do you suggest? In particular I want best substrate for my sand sifters/burrowers (pinkspot goby, jawfish) & sand 'sleepers' -Leopard wrasse.
I've heard some use 2:1 ratio of reef flakes (3.0 mm) to miniflakes (2.0 mm).
Suggestions please?

No mini flakes as your pumps will blow that around.
