So I asked Tampa Bay Saltwater to ID a hitchiker “fish”, and Wen came back with “sand skipper”. Does this mean I have an (eventually) 6” amphibious atlantic mudskipper? It certainly acts the part, walking around the tank.

What do I do with it? Do they eat anything or do they have specific diets (I have lots of pods in the qt tank right now and am feeding phyto). Will it be OK in my display feeding it dried and frozen plankton and mysis?

Here’s the best photo I can do, it is less than an inch in length right now…..

My little friend is growing, but still less than an inch long. TBS is trying to ID, but maybe some sort of dragonette. Took out the dslr and got some better pics, but the glass is a little dirty. I never see it swimming, but scoots around, even up the glass, and viciously attacks pods.
