Hi. It's time to get sand 4 the 60 g cube build. I'm think dry and seed it from current tank. I want a bigger size grain but will still have sand sifters. Hmm Carib sea? Aragonite? Any opinions? Thank.

I like the CaribSea special grade sand because of the larger (1-2mm) sand size. It doesn't blow around and it help keep the sand in place with my Diamond Goby. He can still move sand around, but not as much as small sand particles.

I just went with Fiji pink. It's half way between oolite and special grade. It's not even out of the bag yet. Hope I like it

hey rinse it massively before use

you can't imagine the massive benefit that starting cloudless will do, rinse that in tap for half an hour until its perfection....then do a final rinse in saltwater....then use, you'll have only positive from that

impacts on bacteria are already factored into the move, its a 100% ideal move with not a single negative aspect. 3 positives.
