I am going to have a lot of flow in my tank and I don't want to have all of my sand blowing around. What is some heavy sand I can use to prevent this

BB, crushed coral, special grade sand are some options

caribsea seaflor special grade has been my go to

I have a tank 4ft in length and 2ft in height with 2 MP40WQD (one on each side). Mp40’s are mounted at around 15in from the bottom of the tank. If running at 50% in pulse mode and in sync....the sand at the middle of the tank gets blown away due to turbulence. My sand bed consist of 2in of Caribsea Special Grade sand. Sand doesnt get blown away if I run my pumps in anti-sync mode even at 80%
