Sand tunnel?

This just appeared over 10 hours. It wasn’t there this morning. It appears to be a tunnel with sand stuck to it. Any ideas?

Possibly a feather duster or chaetopterid worm.

A feather duster? Look for a fan like net to come out of the end when it feeds.

Could be a spionid worm as well. Do tou see tentacles coming from it?

Didn’t see anything coming out of it. It’s kinda soft, I bumped it doing a water change. Probably a worm and not an awesome feather duster...it was rebuilt overnight.

Sometimes a feather duster will throw its crown and sometimes leave its casing and makes a new one. Not quite sure at the moment which yours is. Hopefully, it will sprout a new crown proving to be a feather duster.

Ive had this rock since October 24th. I’m amazed at the creatures I’m still finding! Cmon beautiful feather duster!!!
