Sand

So I was washing down 5kg of coral sand to put into my newly setup tank, when I saw a black spec. Looked suspicious, looked metallic. Hmmm

I got 5 of the most powerful neodymium magnets I could find, bagged them and ran it through the sand. I found over a gram of solid metal particles. This would certainly cause huge problems for the tank. ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS run your sand through a magnet. You never know when it’ll save for tank
