I am struggling with an infestation of this coral that I think is sansibia .. Do you confirm me? By now it covers whole rocks, it reaches the base of the corals, it looks like a carpet of cyano but seen up close they look like many small purple daisies .. Has anyone had the same problem? How did you solve it? I attach an enlarged photo .. Thanks and sorry for my english

thanks..producing medicines would be my last attempt .. are there natural predators? or changes in the water parameters?

You might have luck with a file fish. But i dont think theres any parameters like mag you can change that will effect them.

Unfortunately no, not really.
Soft corals survive by basically being invasive weeds and outgrowing their competition. They are doing what’s natural.
Your only real options are physically removing them (and the rock they are on) or treating with something to kill them.

Hmmm they do eat soft corals...do you have others in your tank that you want to keep? No saying hell eat only what you want him to...
