Three tolerable shots of two of Sara's wrasses.

You know the title of this thread could be uh..... Never mind! ;)

Great shots as always Gary. I like the black, does that take you long to do?

You can work the thread title out with Sara. ;)

Thanks for the compliment. I need more time to work with the wrasses. They're just slightly easier than clownfish.

I don't introduce the black. The back of Sara's tank is black and it's rather deep front to back, so the flash die-off adds to the black because it doesn't reach the back of the tank. I don't like introducing backgrounds. Too much work and the edges of the fish bodies rarely look good.

Looking forward to meeting you in Grand Rapids.

Gary

That is AWESOME with the black! I will have to try that next time, my tank is only 18" wide and has a blue background, so I can't usually produce a deep black, even using flash. Next time I get over to Ardo's, or Jr's when he gets the 300 up, I will give that a try though.

I hope to make the GR swap, gotta make sure it is still OK with the wifey...

Marvin, more wrasse photos to come as soon as I get time to visit Sara again. I had a couple of other good wrasse shots, but there were too many microbubbles in the images and I didn't feel like cloning them all out.
