Sarah's 28g JBJ

My fiance Sarah liked Emilie's pink tank for the competition she decided she also wanted to do one. I just so happened to come across this sweet little 28g JBJ nano so off to the races we go!

Equipment:

150w DE Viper clip on MH setup.
100w Hydor Theo submersible heater.
MaxiJet 1200 return pump.
Sun Sun 800GPH Koralia type powerhead.
Approx 30 lbs dry rock.
Approx 20 lbs dry sand.

I just set this up and I am thinking it is gonna cycle for a long time since the rock was used. The water is cloudy but this is just my entry pic.

Best of luck, Sarah. I really like that tank and light together. The tank has enough volume that the MH can run w/o heat issues. Great start to your build!

LOL yeah, I'm thinking Sarah wants to do SPS in this tank. I'm totally letting her pick what she wants, problem is she doesn't live here and when she is here we are usually out enjoying the weather or doing something with the kids so the tank is in slow mo... I want to snip some frags out of my DT but I want her to pick them and where they go in this tank. Probably gonna do a fish order next week.

Hi, I'm Sarah, skinz's fiance and this is my tank so I'll be taking over some of the updates:wink:

We added some corals and fish last week, not sure of the types of corals just that they are mostly SPS. The fish are a Cinnamon Clownfish, Blackbar Chromis, and a Bicolor Blennie. We actually added 2 Clowns but they kept fighting so Chris caught one and placed it in Emilie's tank.
