Yes..good observation. I was having problems with GHA and I decided to try a bare bottom to see if that helped. I know there are alot of love/hate opinions with BB tanks but...man it is so easy to keep all the nasty crap out of the tank!

Hi. I think your set up is really nice, if I was going to do a new tank it would just be like yours. I have a question that hope u dont find disrespectful, but how much did u pay for the tank within the stand? I am definitely following along.

I have to say I was disappointed when I saw you had added substrate originally. I felt it greatly diminished the clean zen look you had going. Look forward to more pics.

Did you kill any benthic animals when you removed your sand? I might remove my sand but worried about killing sand-sifters.

I may have but it would have been the small stuff that lived in the sand...I did not have any intentional things die like stars, etc.

Great looking set up! I just moved from Sarasota in august but that's still my hometown! Great selection of stores forsure!

Very nice! Love your rockscape dude. I run a bare bottom tank too. The bottom looks crap for some time but once Coralline Algae grows it will be ok.

Very good. One of the best I've seen. Please continue to post pics/vids. I want to see how stunning this becomes as the corals take over the aquascape and what happens to the negative spaces you've created.
