Looking at the Sargassum Fish.. I was told they do best with feeder fish, would you feed these guys goldfish?

Also they considered Anglers/Frogs correct? And looking at compatibility chart

https://www.liveaquaria.com/general/general.cfm?general_pagesid=540

Compatible with batfish; boxfish; butterflies; filefish; rabbits; sweetlips; lions; squirelfish

Inverts caution?

My tank is a Red Sea Max 170.. after looking at compatibility with these guys for my tank maybe a lionfish? These guys mostly reef safe?

I have seen them fed with minnows, ghost shrimp, and meatier frozen foods when weened onto it. They can eat larger fishes too. Near it’s own body size! They are apart of the anglerfish family. They can do ok with other tanks mates like lion fish. They do eat snails and other crustaceans.

They don't do well with others.... If it will fit in it's mouth it is gone!! They dont do well in high current either.

You shouldn't feed them anything that doesn't come from it's environment ( fresh water fish) you could feed it live shrimp, live fish

So only thing I could get with this is a lionfish I take it and that is debatable because of the size of my tank.

Maybe and then you have the chance of the lionfish eating the sargassum fish when it gets bigger.
