I want to get a Sargassum Trigger but a bit concerned about the teeth need to be worn down thing. How often do you have to feed hard food? Right now I feed my tank pellet from auto feeder a few times a day and then frozen mysis at night.

Triggers aren't like puffers where their teeth need to be ground down with regular hard food. An occasional treat of something like ghost shrimp would be good. Be careful though. Once a fish gets a taste for live foods, then can become troublesome to smaller tank mates. Especially in a reef

I really don't want to do live food. I can do a frozen clam once in a while? Would that be sufficient you think?

Any meaty food would absolutely be fine. There are several different brands of food that make a blend specifically for carnivores like triggers.
A balanced diet including meaty foods, supplemented with things pellets and nori would make for a very happy fish indeed
