Satans Spawn Chromis

got an insanely aggressive green chromis. So far it has killed a possum wrasse, a yellow assessor, an exquisite wrasse, an orangeback wrasse. Now its going after a yellow coris wrasse. It's in a reefer 750. It's about 6 years old. If I catch the fish and then keep it in timeout in the stock tub do you think can add it back to the aquarium?

Nope. Its like a man eating lion, lol. They seem to go lightswitch crazy and stay that way IME.

Much as I like chromis (when they are healthy, shoaling and arent killing each other), they are nothing more than the rat of the reef. Ive had a few varieties over the years, they all turn into buttholes, much like their evil cousin, the clownfish.

have you tried after lights out? ive had pretty good luck catching fish a few hours after lights out. sometimes i even use a flash light to stun them a bit. pretty successful if they sleep out and about

It's impossible. It's a jam packed sps tank.

As a last resort we used to make mini spear guns put of rigid airline tubing. You need 2 pieces, one that slides inside the other with the outer piece being shorter. Connect the back of both pieces with a rubber band and super glue a sharpened straightened paper clip or needle to the business end of the inner one. Then just pull back and wait for him to get close....
