I am setting up a refugium and wanted the lighting to look clean since its in my office and will be seen by clients. Has anyone used the satellite + Pro to grow macro algae?

Only in my display;)
it works, but you might want to check out fresh water planted versions. it much more a green plant spectrum. If your going mixed Macros like reds, the orbit is a good one.

fwiw the orbit only when i had it on my tank i didnt find it that nice to look at. Loved the royal blue pop, but balanced it with t5 on my reef.

I'm pretty sure the Satellite + Pro is sold as a planted freshwater light. The whites are 6500k and has 6 RGB LED's as well. I'm curious if it has enough power to grow the algae well. I have the smallest version to fit a 16" opening. I believe it's 20 watts.

ah, the link i got was a different fixture perhaps. can you post the link
and how deep is the tank?
