I go to mr LFS just about weekly, 4 weeks ago I saw that they had two chalices, they wanted $120 each, and my ceiling for any reef critter is $100 with one exception which was my purple tang.
I eyeballed this chalice every week until I decided that I might get it today regardless of the price.
I noticed that there was a little tissue loss on the edge and pointed it out, I told the young lady I know well that I bet that the parameters were off and that if it continues they will lose it.
She whispered that they had lost a few big ticket items and would I be interested in the piece at a reduced price.
Long story short I walked out with it for $40.00.
Now I have concerns about some tissue loss but I had to roll the dice. This thing is 3.5" x 3" and beautiful.
What do you guys think?
