Any suggestions for stopping the edge of my sunset montipora from killing the Acropora? Only want to stop the edge which is attacking the acro. Don’t want to eliminate the monti completely.

Get some epoxy and cover the Monti, but leave the edge up off the Montipora a little so it's under the epoxy and can't encrust back over it. It will probably be a constant battle but this will slow it way down and give the Acro time to grow

Do you just use gel epoxy? How do you actually apply it underwater? Thanks for the reply!

I use the 2-part coral epoxy. Just mix it and make a little blanket to cover the area you want but leave the edge up or it will encrust right back over it.
