I know this is not saltwater, but I am in dire need. My tank has gotten ich recently and it’s pretty bad. I put it on API super ich cure and it’s Been about 48 hours. It’s gotten slightly better but my pictus catfish is really suffering. Yesterday and this morning, it was swimming drowsily at the surface and I tried to make it eat but it wouldn’t budge. Now it’s laying on a leaf gasping for air and it’s barely responsive when I touch it. Is there anything I could do?

Do you have any formalin or malachite green . That’s what I used to use back in the day of fresh water ick along with raising the temperature slowly to about 85 degrees . Also make sure to run a good airstone while treating. I think the first thing I did was to give the fish a saltwater bath then rais the temp . And either the malachite green or formalin
