Thank you. Im currently battling a weird situation with dino. Im hoping to not have to do a blackout since i have some real nice coral pieces but i may have to.Nice job on getting a good quality tank at a bargain and putting everything together. Should be a great looking tank when it matures.

Probably just part of the new tank uglies and will clear up eventually. I wouldn't worry too much about it.Thank you. Im currently battling a weird situation with dino. Im hoping to not have to do a blackout since i have some real nice coral pieces but i may have to.
The sensor is not on the door it is on the side panel facing the door so when i open the door the lights turn on. Its not a motion sensor its a proximity sensor. In the picture i have attatched you can see the sensor next to the top left hingeDo you have those switches installed on your doors? Are they motion sensors? How well are they working?
Yes it is pinkys filter floss. Its somewhere between 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick once wet and i oversize it slightly to ensure a tight fit and i get no channeling. I change it every 2-3 days but only because i run a slightly dirty tank. All my euphelia and zoas are full and happy. When i was keeping up with it i would have to change it everyday to keep it from flowing over the emergency overflow hole just above the filter pad.@James Mikell is that filter padding from Pinky Filter? How thick is that stuff when it's wet? Is there any channeling with it in your Trigger Sump?
@James Mikell I will, thanks for the advice !!!Go with that green mesh as you dont need something as fine as the floss just to keep chaeto out.
