A stylo frag I bought online arrived with 2 growth tips turning pale. A day after acclimating and introducing to the tank the tips had turned completely white. A day later most of that branch and some of the encrusting tissue on that side is white. Now there's a 2nd branch that's still colored nicely and even see some polyp extension, should I try to frag that side off and see if it survives?

Sorry for the crappy quality, the non white portion is greenish, the same color as when it arrived in shipping.
Parameters (all salifert):
Alk: 9.6
Ca: 435
Mg: 1290
NO3: 5
PO4: 0.05
Salinity: 34.3

I’d try to save what i can

looks pretty bad.

Just make sure when you frag it you leave some good tissue on the dying section and get the dying piece out of the tank

That's pretty much what I was thinking but having never done it before was a bit anxious to. Wish I had worked up the guts to frag it yesterday, maybe more could have been saved if any at all. Stuff happens in shipping I guess, but one still feels guilty. Hopefully the bit I fragged off can survive.

Just thought I'd update that the tiny frag I removed seems to be doing fine, no tissue or color loss and seeing a bit of polyp extension too. Fingers crossed!
