I change my lighting up. I'm no longer using the Ocean Revive. Just wanted to try something different. I'm now using two Sanrise R90 LED fixtures with a two bulb T5 retrofit running two ATI Blue Plus. Here's normal LED plus T5:

Here's normal LED with no T5:

Here's LEDs with the whites cranked up to 80% and no T5.

What sand were you using before switching it out?

I don't remember because I had it forever.

I've had some tank issues lately. I had a spike in nitrates (15-20ish) and that combined with the stress of adding new light, I lost a couple of colonies. I was getting browned out corals due to the NO3 and burnt tips due to the new lights. Im working on getting the NO3 back down and I've dialed the new lights down. I've stoped the coral losses, but I still have some coloring up to do.

I think he went back to the Ocean Revive. The other lights were not work out for him, corals were losing their color.
Thanks for the update. I switched away from OR fixtures as well even though they were working perfect. I was curious how well the corals would look under an 8-bulb ATI fixture.

Hopefully all his corals recovered and he's back at growing some beautiful colonies.

Well, things were back on track until my neighbor in my 3-unit condo building decided to have a fire. My condo is destroyed from water damage and is down to the studs. Im not even living there. Tank is still running but has been neglected since early sept. The mitigation company blew a breaker that the tank is on and it went without power for over 24 hours. I lost all fish except my two triggers.

This weekend, I have to tear down the tank and move it to my back bedroom. Then when the condo is renovated in a few months, move it back to its spot.

Wow, so sorry to hear about that. Your tank was one of my favorites, sad to see it go. I hope to see it return to its former glory!

That, just plainly, sucks..... Sorry to hear. Good luck ! !

Oh man, that's terrible. Best of luck getting back on your feet!
