One of my all-time favorite fish..sandsifting twin spot goby. Known to have a bad track record in captivity. But after seeing this little guy in an lfs tank for about a month, i pulled the trigger. And last night I saw him eat mysis that was on the sand so things are looking up.

Awesome photo! Good luck with him!!

thanks guys..yeah, i'm diggin' (no pun intended..lol) this little guy. so far he sifts but doesn't dump. He has a small mouth so he doesnt make a mess and doesnt stir up tons of crap either.

These fish, for some reason, tend to do better in small nano tanks as opposed to larger tanks. I had one in a red sea max 34 a few years back and did great..then transferred it to a large well established 225g and disappeared within a week.

Another point to make is that they are known jumpers so a tight lid is a must. Luckily my tank came with a glass top but thinking of changing that to a custom screen mesh top in the near future.
