Hello and thank you.
I have been in saltwater for almost 10 years now. Have been a student of the reef going on 6 years. I have been out of the hobby for 2 years and am returning. My largest tank is a 125 smallest are 5. I have more than 20 aquariums. I am a big believer in closing the loop with plants and trying to keep things as simple as I can; resisting technology creep as much as I am able. That being said look forward to running an Apex one day ( when I can afford one). Currently running a freshly cycled 40 with a 20 long sump. Will eventually be primarily a softie tank ( or planned to be anyway) with a couple fish. Currently running cheatomorpha reactor, sponges, carbon, live Rock and pumice, (waiting on Skinner to arrive).Big on diy and am a precision machinist and industrial designer. Did many years of programming over a decade ago. I hope to start my own Coral farm one day as I feel one day soon the hobby will have to repopulate the natural reefs but am very far from it.
