Saying hello to everyone here! It's nice seeing an active forum. My husband let me spend my tax return by setting up my first saltwater tank. I've been getting some interesting hitchhikers in the live rock from my LFS and just want to make sure it's nothing I need taken out. It's lodged deep in a hole in the rock and retracts into it each time it's bothered.

it is some type of anemone...a bit too small still to identify...might be a majano...doesnt look like an aptasia though.
