I’m putting together a 50 lagoon over the next few months. The plan for the tank is a mixed reef definitely going to be some acropora and other high light corals down the road. I want to use sb reef lights. Trying to stay within a budget but I don’t want to skimp. The dimensions of my tank are 30 L x 24W x 16 deep. I’m considering the 32 timer or the 18 timer. So here’s my question will the 32 work hung directly in the center? What is the distance from outside led to outside led? Will I have massive light spill? And if I use the 18 am I gonna have enough spread to cover the tank well enough for sps? Hoping someone who has the light can measure for me and answer some question. Thanks reefers!
