SB Reef Lights 16" (2)

That intensity is really high though. Hard to tell without a par meter but its better to be too low and work your way up rather than the opposite. Give it a shot, it wont hurt. Better than frying corals.

Every try coral food? Your tank looks super new to me, judging by the rocks you have low to no nutrient.

A little back story info, I broke the tank down last year and placed my corals and clown in to a QT because of a bubble algae issue I let get way out of hand. I bought all new rock and set the tank back up once I received the new lights. The tank is a little over four months old. The bright white Rock was placed in last night.

No I haven't tried any coral food. With only one fish to feed should I look into this?

I feed my corals bra reef chili and they seem to love it. Just like everything dont over do it

I would try it. Lps don't like clean water so more fish more food. Your leds are strong and with lps I would run settings close to my friends zoa tank which is high blue lw whites. He's at 80 or 90 blues and 20 to 30 whites in a 29 gallon.

I have a 24 gallon so I'm going to try the 15 W and 30 Blue during peak hours and see what results I get.

Who would have thunk it! To much light issue. Makes the deal on this thread a very valuable one!

More pics of the lights in action.

Still have

What was the reason?

Mainly for the controllability over the whole light. The reef link controller capabilities. Also i know this is one of the best LED fixtures on the market.

The SB light which Mike Has created is very good, and is comparable at a fraction of the price, but i guess i want the Mercedes... Lol
