Does anyone know if there is a way to control sbreef sbars using the apex? I have the dimmable ballast for both... is there a cable you can buy? Thanks for rhe help

you have to use the 0-10v variable port and map it to the sbreef-'s expected control voltage. I know few folks who did it with reef-pi, i bet this could be done with apex as well. You may need some intermediate circuitry
@Ryan115 did you work on the sbreef light mods?

Thank you... I was wondering if you could just use a reefbrite to apex cable... It almost looks likethe same connections... Also found this on sbreef lights website, but cant find an explination on how the process is done... tried emailing them as well... havent heard back... being the weekend and all...

I am not sure if they are using the same circuitry in the sbar as the larger units.
For the large basic unit, I replaced the manual dimmer circuit internally with a 10V PWM board.
Is the Apex a true 0-10V or is it 10V PWM? When I put an RC filter on the circuit, the dimming was not working for me.

Here is the original ciruit

Here are some of the design files for the circuit I made (disregard the RC components in the bottom left of the photo)
