How does it go from yellow to green when it's the only culture it have ? Lol:dizzy-face:

The phyto, as the culture gets denser on the Nanno it goes from electric green to a dark yellow as the light is on. Without the light it just looks dark green

Supposed to be isochrysis though :grinning-face-with-sweat:
 
This tank upgrade is adding up lol.

I’ve been getting my RODI and salt water from the LFS. At $.50/gal for RO and $1/gal for salt, it adds up quick. Found a nice 100 gal vertical tank w/ stand locally so now I’m hunting down a good RODI filter system and going to do it all myself.

Calculating it out, 100 gal of RODI comes out to ~$4. Should pay for itself quickly
 
I’ve been hauling 5 gal buckets weekly for a couple years. I’m over it :grinning-squinting-face:

Never again haha. Have a 40, 90, and 200 sw tanks with a 180 gallon fw pond. My house has quite a few 1/4 inch tubing running around but soo much easier than buckets
