Any negatives? I would rather buy a par meter and have it forever than rent one. I know the 510 from apogee is like the hobby standard but it's noticeably more expensive

No negatives from my experience with it, other than having to buy a tablet to pair with it. I don’t use the spectrum chart much but it’s a nice feature to have. There are some good reviews on here about it.
